Accentize is now Syranto!

If you read that with a flicker of worry, let's settle it right away. Nothing about your experience changes:

• It's the same app, the same team, and the same login you already use.

• Your history, your saved words, and your progress are all exactly where you left them.

• You don't need to reinstall anything, create a new account, or do a single thing.

The app on your phone keeps working today just like it did yesterday. So if nothing is changing for you, why change the name at all?

Why the New Name?

When we started, we kept the app simple, and a lot of you use it exactly that way every day, including the history you can search, the Word of the Day to keep things fresh, Logophile for exploring words one card at a time, and WordHub to quiz yourself.

Those parts of the app aren't going anywhere. But the name "Accentize" always pointed at something bigger: actually coaching your accent. For a while, that was more a promise than a feature. Over the past few months, we've been building it for real, and it turns out to be far more than the app you have in your hands today.

These big upgrades needed a bigger name, so we went looking for something with room for both the simple tool it is now and the coach it's becoming. That name is Syranto.

What Isn't Changing

We want to be clear about this, because a rebrand can feel like more than it is. Here is what stays exactly the same:

• Your account, history, and saved words: it's all still there.

• The app on your phone: it keeps working just as it does today, with the same features you already use.

• The team and the mission behind it: same people, same reason we started.

This is a new name on the same thing you already trust, not a new company or a new product you have to learn.

Where we're headed

Here is the part we're most excited about.

The next version of the app is already in testing, and it's the accent coach we've been pointing at all along. This is real accent work: custom lessons built around how you actually speak, and feedback that goes right down to the individual sounds, so you can see exactly which ones to focus on and hear yourself improve over time.

It also comes with a redesigned experience and a new identity. You know us in green today. That is about to change too.

We're not going to throw out dates we aren't ready to promise. But this is the direction, and it's real. The name gives us room for it, and the next version is the first real step.
